As a youngster, Katina enjoyed competing in many sports. However, she found enjoyed playing tennis far more than any other. The only thing that kept Katina from playing tennis was a serious injury that forced her to drop out of her high school tennis team. After graduating college, Katina became part owner of an artistic design solutions studio in Greenwich, CT. It was then that she started to make up for lost time and focus on her passion for tennis. Upon traveling Poland, she took tennis one step further and invested a lot of time in private lessons, leagues, and clinics. She took on the role of manager/coordinator of an international men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles league.

When her son Charlie was 5, she introduced him to tennis and realized that she would love to teach the sport! She became certified with the PTA and participated in many teaching workshops and for the past 12 years, Katina has been coaching adults and kids. She also became the founder of International Tennis in Krakow, which she teaches kids at schools and ran and coached kids camps during summer and holiday breaks.

Katina is back in Connecticut and currently works at MTA, which is the perfect fit to bring her passion and love of tennis to young children.
